Carol Baker, 75 passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021.  She was born March 26, 1946 in Yuma, Colorado to George and Nellie Bramblett.

Carol graduated from Brush High School in 1964.  She married George Baker on December 1, 1969.  She worked for the Brush School District as a bus driver for many years.  She also worked as a hairdresser at Sunset Manor between driving students to school and home.  She worked for County Express at the time of her death.

Family was the whole world to Carol.  She loved attending all activities her children, grandchildren and great grandchild participated in.  She could be seen at the baseball fields, football fields, band concerts, and dance recitals.  She loved spending time with her family any time she could.  Carol also loved her "fur-babies".  She was always surrounded by her dogs and cats.

Carol was a sweet gentle soul and her quiet presence spoke loudly because she was a listener.  When she asked how you were, she really wanted to know how you were.  She was a behind the scenes helper, an observer who could truly enjoy watching her loved ones do their thing without having to be the center of attention.  In other words, she never made things about her.  Carol was a supporter with an ear to listen and shoulders to lean on.  She was a cheerleader for when going through a hard time or by the other scenario of clapping in the stands while watching loved ones.  Although she was quiet, she was always right up front to give out her amazing hugs. She had a right away smile and used humor to make you feel welcomed and important to talk to.

Carol is survived by her husband George Baker, two children Dawn Wooldridge and husband Rob, and Darrin Baker and wife Stacy.  She is also survived by her five grandchildren Cyra Wooldridge-Sams and wife Katie, Austin Wooldridge and fiancé Skylee, Jared Baker, Emily Baker, and Tyler Baker.  Carol also had one great-grandchild Caesar Johnson.  Also survived by one sister Roberta Chezik and husband Rod and one brother Wayne Bramblett and wife Ida.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Dwight Bramblett, Ron Bramblett, and Jim Bramblett.
