CAROL ELAINE BEAUPREZ, 89, of Fort Morgan, died Tuesday morning, March 16, 2010 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. She was born March 17, 1920 in New Raymer, CO to Lloyd & Edith (Johnson) Erford. She graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1938. She married Harold Graves in 1938. Mr. Graves died in 1960. She married Al Beauprez on February 4, 1963. They lived in Wiggins for seven years before moving back to Fort Morgan. They traveled every year for 24 years after their move back to Fort Morgan. Mr. Beauprez died in 1970. Mrs. Beauprez had worked at Clark Feather Co., Edward's Market, Johnson's Super Foods, and Supers For Less for forty years before her retirement. Mrs. Beauprez was a member of the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan and the DOES. Her first love was dancing. She was an avid bowler for 25 years and played bridge for over 70 years. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she loved both of her families. Survivors include her son, Merlyn Graves of Carol Stream, Illinois; her step children, Sylvia Moore of Sarasota, FL, and Steve Beauprez of Nineveh, Indiana; 4 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren, and 8 step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Loren Erford; her son, Ronald Graves; her step daughter, Beverly Doughty; her step son, Dan Beauprez; two step grandsons, Michael and Jimmy; her first husband, Harold Graves; and her second husband, Al Beauprez. A memorial service will be Monday, March 22nd at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church.
