Carol Daniels, 67, was born April 27, 1948, in Denver, CO, to John & Cora (Unrein) Schneidmiller, one of four children. She passed away on Saturday, October 17, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Carol attended school and graduated from Brighton High School in 1966. She worked as grounds manager at Second Creek Raceway in Commerce City, CO for 12 years. She organized events and took care of the daily functions of a race track. Her daughter, Buffie, moved to Brush in 2002. In 2010 Carol followed and made her final move to Centennial Manor Apartments where she made alot of friends and entertained many of them. This past year she enjoyed spending time with her great granddaughter, with her little dog, "JD", always at her side and loved by all. Carol is survived by two (2) daughters, Buffie (Kevin) Dechant of Brush and Bobbie (Dennis) Burke of Brighton. Along with her 3 grandchilren, Missie (David) Chapman, Mick Dechant of Brush and Shelbie Burke of Brighton. Her pride and joy was her only great granddaughter, Melinda Chapman of Fort Morgan. She was also survived by her brother John Schneidmiller of Dallas, TX. There will be a Celebration of Life for Carol on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11 AM at the Jaycee Building located in the VFW Park in Brush. The Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
