Carol Ann Hays was born to the late Elmer and Loretta Scott on September 7, 1939. She went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2024.

Carol grew up in Adams, MA and would later move to New York and then eventually settle in Colorado. Carol's life was characterized by a devotion to God, a love for other people, an affection for animals and the desire to make and create things from new recipes to ceramics and crocheting. She found much enjoyment being around her friends and family. She particularly enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, and doing favors for her friends and neighbors.

Carol's helpful hand, warm conversations, mini-breads, and wholesome laugh will be missed by many. All who knew and loved Carol cherish the time they had together and celebrate the life she lived and a sense of joy that she is in an eternal state of peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley Riddle. Carol is survived by her daughters; Laura Kelly (Joe Kelly) and Kim Higgins; her grandchildren Mathew Mueller (Tracy Mueller), Jesse-Ann Graham, Jennifer-Kim Ritchie (Justus Ritchie), Cameron-Scott Reynolds; her great-grandchildren Briella, Emerlyn, Christopher, Austin, Wyatt, Levi, Silas, Lily; as well as her countless friends.

A service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday March 26, 2024, at the United Presbyterian Church 1300 E Riverview Ave Fort Morgan CO.
