Carol G. Speaks, 58, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018. She was born July 1, 1960, in Sterling, CO to Ted & Mary Kiolbasa.

Following graduation from Sterling High School Carol worked for, and became one of the managers for McDonald's Restaurant. She later worked at the First National Bank in Brush.

On April 14, 1984, Carol married Dana Speaks in Fort Morgan. She worked as the Senior Branch Office Manager for the Mark Hough branch of Edward D. Jones Investment Banker for 18 years.

Carol's favorite past time was working – she loved her job. She & Dana enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Dana; her Mother, Mary Koilbasa; 2 step sons, Shane Speaks and Blaine Speaks; 9 brothers & sisters, and 2 granddaughters, Jade & Dusty Speaks. She was preceded in death by 1 brother & her Father.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
