Carol J. Vasquez, 66, of Brush, passed away Tuesday evening, January 13, 2015, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born January 20, 1948, in Fort Morgan to Alex and Josephine Padilla. During her working career, Carol worked at Clark Feather Mfg; Century Housing, and American Beef, Sterling Beef, Excel Beef and Cargill Beef Plants. On June 5, 1984, Carol married Emilio Vasquez in Fort Morgan. Carol loved spending time with her cats and dogs. Survivors include her son, Steven Whaley of Weldona; She was preceded in death by her husband, several brothers, and her parents. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 23, 2015, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery Columbarium.
