Carole Kumke's Obituary
Carole J. "Cookie" Kumke, Brush resident for over 40 years, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Reading, PA to Bruce & Margie Fields.
Following her graduation from High School, Cookie served in the US Army from 1968 - 1969. In 1976 she moved to Morgan County. Prior to ill health forcing her retirement, Cookie worked as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for area health care agencies.
Survivors include her daughter, Heather Kolman of Brush, her Mother, Margie Blauvelt of Reading, PA and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Derek and her Father.
A memorial graveside service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
