Carolyn Diane Orick, 72, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015, at the inpatient hospice unit at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born September 28, 1943, in Anniston, Alabama. Carolyn moved to Fort Morgan to be with her daughter, Mary Holt, in 2014. She enjoyed embroidery work and acrylic painting. She was a past worthy matron of Eastern Star. Survivors include 4 daughters, Mary Holt of Fort Morgan, Sheri Aycock of Huntsville, AL, Laura Orick of Fort Morgan and Wanda Orick of Rockfield, KY; 2 brothers, Dough Sams and Rick Sams both of Alabama; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Orick, and her parents. At Carolyn's request no formal memorial service will be held.
