Carolyn, "Carol" (Kaufman) Soule, 85 of Brush, CO, passed away peacefully at East Morgan County Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Carol was born July 11, 1936 in Melbeta, NE to Jake R. Kaufman and Rose (Batt) Kaufman.

Carol lived in the Gering Valley area and attended Gering High School.  Her mother and her soon to be mother-in-law escorted her to the Air Force base in Biloxi, MS to marry her love, Marvin J. Soule the day after her seventeenth birthday on July 12, 1953, where he was stationed.

While Marv was in the Air Force, they lived in Biloxi, Mississippi, in Utah, and in Arizona. Later they lived in Banner County Nebraska, Pine Bluffs, and Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Ebenezer Luther Care Center in Brush, Colorado.

Carol could do anything.  She helped build the house she and Marv lived in, and helped build a motor boat they enjoyed.  She made and decorated wedding cakes, and sewed fancy baby blankets for her grand, and great grandchildren.  Her skills at her jobs were just as diversified, and she was always a hard worker and a perfectionist.  She was always a part of community projects and organizations, and was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church.

Carol is survived by her children, Peggy (Mike) Shull of Keota, CO, and Marvin (Sharlet) Soule Jr. of Hillsdale, WY; her son-in-law Frank (Lynne) of Weldona; her sisters, Dee Doss of Olympia, WA, and Irene Cross of Ranchester, WY; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews she thought of as her own.

Carol is proceded in death by her loving husband, Marv in 2015; and her precious daughter, Lynne in 2020; her parents; and many family members and friends.  She was the last of her generation in Marv's family.

She loved her family and friends, and they so loved her back.

No services are planned until health restrictions are lifted, so her last wishes can be fulfilled.
