Cary Kretzer, 68, of Fort Morgan, died Monday, September 29, 2014. He was born April 25, 1946 in Del Norte, CO to Lowell & Mary (McKinney) Kretzer. He married Barbra Skoglund on September 20, 1969 in Loveland. They moved to Fort Morgan 12 years ago. Cary worked as a machinist. He enjoyed rock and arrowhead hunting, going to flea markets, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed his children and grandchildren. His family will remember him as a wonderful father and husband. Cary is survived by his wife, Barbra Kretzer of Fort Morgan; his daughter, Crystal Hellegaard and her husband, Brent of Grand Junction; his son, Rodney Kretzer of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Drew, Damien, and Kiera; three brothers, his twin, Gary Kretzer and his wife, Fran of Loveland, Danny Kretzer and his wife, Linda of Minnesota, and Darrel Kretzer of Cheyenne, WY. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Linda Stonebrink. No services are scheduled at this time.
