Chance Charles Contreras, 24, lifelong area resident, died Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Denver Health Medical Center from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was born January 12, 1989 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Rudy and Pamela (Sanchez) Contreras. Chance enjoyed working on and restoring older cars, and always had a smile on his face. He loved his family and friends and they were very important to him. Survivors include, his parents, Rudy and Pamela Contreras of Brush, two daughters, Selena Contreras and Niayah Garcia Contreras, three brothers, Daniel Carrera of Fort Morgan, Chaz Contreras of Kansas, and Elijah Contreras of Ft. Morgan, two sisters, Jessica Contreras of Ft. Morgan, and LaVeya Mia Contreras of Ft. Morgan. There will be a visitation on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 10:00 am at Life Fellowship in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
