Charles Russell Bragg II, 71, former local resident, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Fairacres Manor in Greeley, CO.  He was born to Charles and Mary (Talbott) Bragg on October 19, 1949 in Clarksburg, WV. He was the eldest of five children.

Charles grew up in Fort Morgan, CO and was active in Boy Scouts, DeMolay and was an accomplished athlete in school. He graduated Fort Morgan High School in 1967 and then attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling where he continued his remarkable wrestling career and received an associate's degree.

Charles worked in the Fort Morgan, CO area for several years before moving to Broomfield, CO and then to Vernal, UT in 1983, where he began his career with Howard Supply. He enjoyed all of the people in the Uintah Basin for 30 years, even in the rough times. He especially enjoyed coaching mini mitts girls softball and coaching boys football.

Charles is survived by his sister, Carol (Tom) Frank of Fort Morgan; brothers; Bill (Ellen) Bragg of Colorado Springs, Bob (Paula) Bragg of Fort Morgan and Dr. John (Jessica) Bragg of Windsor, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his nephew, Thomas Frank II; and close friends, Alan and Marsha Oleen.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 8 ^th at 10:30 AM at Platte Valley Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. The service will be live-streamed at plattevalleybaptistchurch.org. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan.
