Charles Augustine Cordova, 57, died March 1, 2017 at his home in Byers, Colorado.

Charles was born August 6, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Augustine and Ruby (Fresquez) Cordova.

He spent several years driving a truck for CDOT, which included driving a snow plow night and day during the winter months. He truly liked driving his truck.

Charles enjoyed camping, traveling, reading, music from the 60s and 70s, and playing his guitar with his mother and brother.

Survivors include, his wife Lynn Benally of Byers, one son, Robert Cordova of Denver, one daughter, Andrea Cordova of Denver, his mother and step-father Ruby and Charles Trujillo of Brush, two brothers, Herman Cordova of Greeley, and Danny Cordova who lives in Tennessee.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Augustine, and one sister.

A Celebration of his Life will be Friday, March 10, 2017, at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Services will conclude at the mortuary.
