Charles R. Hardy, age 79, of Harrison, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born February 22, 1937, at Snyder, Colorado, the son of John and Thelma (Gilbert) Hardy. He married Ruth Reed July 10, 1955, in Brush, Colorado. He retired from the Army/National Guard and worked in maintenance at North Arkansas College. He was also a self-employed farmer. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Linda Auch.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hardy, of the home; a daughter, Debra Pace, of Harrison, Arkansas; two sons, Charles R. Hardy, Jr. of North Pole, Alaska and John Hardy of Conifer, Colorado; and three brothers, Ralph Hardy of Tennessee, John "Jack" Hardy of Oklahoma, and Millard Hardy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 17, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Brother Jim Bryant officiating.

Graveside funeral service with full military honors will be held 11:00 AM, Monday June 20, 2016, at Brush Memorial Cemetery in Brush, Colorado.
