Chelbi Rae Holt, the daughter of David Wayne and Donna Ann (Reicks) Holt was born on December 21, 2003 in Greeley, Colorado. She passed peacefully, after a long, hard battle against cancer, forever 14.

Chelbi loved being in school and enjoyed her times with her friends. She planned on going back to school this semester and getting back into her routine. In school she loved to be creative so drawing and painting was her specialty. She thought a lot about her career and future and wanted to become a masseuse or a veterinarian, and even had a song picked out for her wedding. Chelbi also loved anything to do with dogs.

Chelbi was such a selfless person, if she had something that was special to her, she would give that to someone that was special to her. She always thought of everyone else before thinking of herself. She loved spending time with her family, whether it was a card games, board games or even making her own waterslide in the front yard.

Chelbi is survived by her wonderful parents David and Donna Holt of Woodrow, CO; three sisters and their significant others: Kayla McDonald (James McDonald) of Fort Morgan, CO; Tierra Haws of Fort Collins, CO; Morgan Holt of Woodrow, CO; nephew: Gaige McDonald; grand-mother Dorothy Reicks of Petersburg, NE; grand-father Wayne Holt of Brush, CO; uncles: Dominic (Dawn) Reicks and family; Dean (Cathy) Reicks and family; Darrel Reicks and family; Dale (Pam) Reicks and family; Dan (Teresa) Reicks and family; aunts: Nina (Randy) Burnsides and family; Christina (Loren) and family; along with other relatives and a great amount of friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Duane Reicks, grand-mother Shirley Holt; aunt Carla Holt; brothers: Kurtis and Levi Holt; three cousins: Duane and Michael Reicks, and Aaron Reicks.

There will be a vigil held at the Brush (CO) High School, Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 7:15 PM, entry through the Main Gym.
