Cheryl Lynn Rapue, 29, lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in Riverton, WY as a result of a work related auto accident. Cheryl was born June 23, 1984 in Denver to Terry Lee & Rita Kay (Doehling) Rapue of Wiggins. She grew up in Wiggins where she attended school and graduated in 2002. Respiratory Therapy in college was her plan of action. She moved to Wyoming to help her dad with his mail delivery runs where she has since stayed. After her father's death in 2012, Cheryl filled his big shoes and worked the seven delivery runs as sole owner until her untimely death. Cheryl enjoyed camping, the lake, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends, and her nephew, Blake. She is survived by her mother, Rita; her younger sister, Sandra (& Noah) Richardson; her nephew, Blake Richardson; her grandparents, Rex & Kay Williams; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; her longtime friend, Angie Maxon; and her loving companion, and best friend, James Palato. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father; and her maternal grandparents, Wilfred & Betty Doehling. Visitation will be Friday, June 27th from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the chapel.
