Christine Sue Hefner, 61, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born May 3, 1955, in Holyoke, CO, to Frank & Bette Linnenbrink.

Chris graduated from Holyoke High School. On May 3, 1974, she married Paul Hefner in Las Vegas. In 1979 the Hefner family moved to Brush.

Chris worked with her husband as office manager for the area Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Company.

Chris was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar & Rosary Society of St. Mary's Church, American Legion Post 68 Auxiliary. When her sons were younger she was very active with them in all of their activities.

Survivors include her husband, Paul; 2 sons Justin (Trish) of Ault, CO and Jeremy (Lindsay) of Weldona; 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Jarod, Isaac, Lucas, Emma, and Annalise; 1 great granddaughter, Gemma; 2 sisters, Dix and Becky; and 2 brothers, Bart and Frank. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
