Clarence R. Lisle, 95, life resident of Washington & Morgan Counties, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. He was born April 3, 1912, in Otis, CO, to Edwin & Minnie Lisle. In 1935 Clarence married Marjorie Highland. She died in 1984. On January 5, 1985, he married Esther Kembell Schott at the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church. Clarence owned and operated a ranch near Otis, and later in the Weldon Valley with his brother, Robert. He was a member of the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church, a member for over 50 years of the Oasis Masonic Lodge AF & AM #67 , the Colorado Cattlemen's Association, and Morgan County Cattlemen's Association of which he is a past president. He enjoyed doing horseshoe art, fishing, dancing traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Esther, of Brush; 3 step-children, Barbara Bauer, and her husband, Don, of Fort Morgan, Jerry Schott, and his wife, Becky, of Longmont, CO, and Ken Schott, and his wife, Lynne, of Grand Lake, CO; 2 brothers, Willard of Wheat Ridge, CO, and Robert of Greeley; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great – great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife; 2 sons, Eddie and Ronald; 2 step-children, Thelma Guffey, and Beverly Troudt; 2 brothers, 2 great – great grandsons, and his parents. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 21, 2007, at the United Presbyterian Church, 1300 E. Riverview in Fort Morgan at 10:30 A.M..
