Clarence "Mike" Swoape, 46, was brought home to his loving Fathers' house on May 28, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Jackson, Tennessee to Sam L. Swoape Jr. and Georgann Swoape. He graduated in 1988 from Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, CO. He married Lora Faye Beckwith on August 12, 1989. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved sweating and freezing (in the bubble) at the many athletic events, for the kids, with his family and many friends. A lifetime career at Plumbers Local 3 for 21 years was a great service of support for his family. Mike is survived by his wife Lora and two children, Caitlin and Samuel; his first wife, Jamie French and son Jeffrey; his parents, Sam and Georgann Swoape, two siblings; Steve ( Melissa) Swoape and Crystal Owens; mother-in-law Bev Beckwith; father-in-law; Gary (Anne) Beckwith; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as the breakfast club. He was preceded in death by a child, Jesse, his grandparents, and numerous family members. There will be a viewing held on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 4 until 7 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. A worship service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10:30 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Heer Mortuary in care of Mike Swoape memorial fund.
