CLAUDE H. FRITZ, 93, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. He was born in Clay City, NE on July 24, 1918 to Luke Henry & Mable Mita (Wilson) Fritz. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked for the Labor Union for a number of years before his retirement. Claude married Theresa Jean Palmer on May 10, 1948. He enjoyed going to coffee with his friends, going for walks, and sitting on his front porch. Claude is survived by his granddaughter, Randee (Paul) Aleman of Fort Morgan and his great grandson, Quintin Aleman, along with a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; his daughter, Cecilia "Skeeter" Paul; and three step-daughters, Barbara Atkinson, Loretta Eldridge, and Carole Bisher. Cremation will take place. At Claude's request there will not be a service.
