Claudia Carolyn Kosman 83 Lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born March 7, 1924 in Greeley, Colorado to Claude and Pearl (Gabbett) Richeson. She spent her youth in Orchard, Colorado. Claudia worked in the Finance Department at Fitzsimmons Army Base in Denver until she married Jacob Kosman Jr. on June 27, 1945 in Orchard. Jake and Claudia farmed Southwest of Ft. Morgan until Jake's retirement in 1997. Jake died December 16, 1999. Claudia was a member of at the Christ Congregational Church in Ft. Morgan. She loved to cook and was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Orchard, the local Does Drove, VFW Auxiliary in Ft. Morgan and was in the Mary Martha Circle at church. Survivors include one son, Michael Kosman of Ft. Morgan, one daughter, Kendra Hosek of Lafayette, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jacob and son, Kenneth Kosman. Visitation will be Thursday, April 26th from 5 until 7 pm at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 27, 2007 at 2:30 pm at the Riverside Cemetery in Ft. Morgan. Memorial Gifts may be made to the Christ Congregational Church in Ft. Morgan. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
