Claudine M. Taylor, 86, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Medical Center of The Rockies in Loveland.

She was born December 31, 1929 in Lamoni, IA and moved to Abilene, KS at the age of four where she was raised by her aunt and uncle. Claudine graduated from Abilene High School. She married Stephen Taylor on July 14, 1948 and they moved to Fort Morgan, CO in March of 1953.

Claudine worked as an Executive Secretary at Fort Morgan High School for 26 years before her retirement in 1994.

Claudine was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, and shopping.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Taylor of Fort Morgan; two daughters, Janice Campbell (Larry Leeman) of Denver and Cindy (Gary) Jensen of Weldona; a son, Stephen Taylor Jr.; three grandchildren, Eric Yancey (Mollie), Angie Sanders (Damon) and Stephanie Dudley (Robert); seven great grandchildren, Dylan and Joshua Yancey, Garret, Logan and Jaci Sanders, Robert Scott Dudley and Amber Rodarte; and one great-great granddaughter, Austyn Foster.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be Saturday, August 20th at 10:30 AM at Saint Charles Episcopal Church in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium.
