Longtime Brush resident, Cleo D. Berry, passed away December 14, 2014, at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. Mrs. Berry was born October 19, 1919, in Wellington, Kansas. She married Jack G. Berry in Douglas, Wyoming on December 24, 1939. They had two children, Barbara Bartels (Dale) of Brush and Jack D. Berry (Sharon) of Casper, WY. Following Mr. Berry's retirement from Mountain Bell Telephone in 1975, the couple moved to Brush. Mr. Berry passed away that same year. Mrs. Berry was an avid golfer and bridge player. She loved to travel and was fortunate to have visited many foreign countries, as well as much of the United States. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. She is survived by her son and daughter, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and one sister. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 16 at All Saints Lutheran Church in Brush, CO. Inurnment followed in the Brush Cemetery.
