Cleora M. Hodgson, 96, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017, at the Valley View Villa Nursing Home in Fort Morgan. She was born January 19, 1921, in Payne, OH, to Lester & Mary Privett.

Cleora graduated from Boulder High School in Boulder, CO, in 1937. ON September 10, 1939, she married Lester Hodgson. The Hodgson family eventually settled on their family farm near Fort Collins. When health issues began they moved to Brush in 1997.

Cleora enjoyed gardening, canning the fruits of her garden, sewing and embroidery hand work, baking, photography, ceramic work and working in her flower garden.

Survivors include her 2 children, Gary (Sue) Hodgson of Brush and Pam (Ken) Trost of Rupert, ID; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and 1 sister, Lois.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 9:30 AM. Concluding services and interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins, CO at 12:30 PM. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Salvation Army c/o the Heer Mortuary.
