Clifford W. Slama, 82, passed away Friday evening, October 12, 2012, at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. He was born February 5, 1930, in Wray, CO, to Rudy & Twila Belle Slama. Clifford served in the US Navy from October 10, 1950 until his honorable discharge on July 30, 1954. On March 11, 1955, he married Joyce Barritt in Wray. Clifford enjoyed his job as a parts man with General Motors. He enjoyed traveling and attending his US Navy ship reunions. He enjoyed looking at farm equipment, especially tractors. He most enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his 3 sons, Steve of Highlands Ranch, CO, Michael of Windsor, CO, and Scott of Denver; 6 grandchildren, Jerrad Chesney, Sutton Slama, Kyler Slama, Timothy Slama, Sheena Hayes, and Dylan Seeman; and 2 great granddaughters, Alana Slama & Addison Slama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, 1 daughter, Jeanette Slama, and his parents. At Clifford's request, no service will be held.
