Clyde Henry Reichert was born on September 4, 1928 to Henry and Mary (Long) Reichert in Windsor, Colorado. He passed away March 7,2025 at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.
His family moved to Gill, Colorado in 1938 and he graduated in 1946.
Clyde married his high school sweetheart Helen Heidenreich on September 4,1948 in Greeley. Together they farmed in the Gill and Fort Morgan areas for 18 years moving to Fort Morgan in 1965.
Clyde then went into the construction business in 1973. When he retired he drove a truck helping farmers get their crops harvested.
He enjoyed traveling with their travel trailer, camping, fishing at Red Feather, their favorite place, or just sitting outdoors enjoying the mountain views. His favorite times were spent with family and watching the little ones grow up.
Clyde is survived by three daughters Lynn (Gary) Pickering of Fort Morgan, Dee (Gary ) Duke of Sherman, Texas, and Kim (Brian) Pabst of Hillrose, 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (December11, 2024), and 2 brothers Darrell and Wesley.
Memorial services will be held at the Fort Morgan United Methodist Church at 117 E Bijou on Thursday, March 13 at 10:30 AM followed by a light lunch at the church. Interment will follow the lunch at Riverside Cemetery and Memory Garden
Memorials may go to the Fort Morgan United Methodist church.
