Cody Glatz, 18, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle crash in Adams County, CO. He was born August 31, 1999, in Mount Clemens, MI.

Cody has lived in Brush since 2015. He graduated from Brush High School in 2018. He was on the delayed entry program for the US Marine Corps and was scheduled to activate in September 2018. He loved working with his hands which included welding, timbering, woodwork, and working on diesel engines..

Survivors include his parents, Shauna & Rocky Schneider of Brush and Jack & Carla Glatz III of Guffey, CO; his two sisters, Shelby Glatz and Emma Schneider and brother, Talen Schneider all of Brush; and his grandparents, Cherri andAlvin Roybal, Jeff & Renee Dabney, and Jack and Sandy Glatz Jr.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 6, 2018, at 10:30 AM at the Platte Valley Baptist Church, 22750 US Highway 34, Fort Morgan. The service will conclude at the church.  A reception will follow at the Carroll Building, 418 Edison Street in Brush following the service and balloon release.  The Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the cremation and funeral arrangements.   Family prefers memorial gifts go to the Go Fund Me account for Cody Glatz.
