Craig Trautwein, longtime area resident, died Saturday October 20, 2012, at his home in Wiggins. He was born March 2, 1952 in Akron to Henry and Laura Trautwein. Craig graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1970. He attended Adams State College where he majored in Business Administration and accounting. Craig married Lisa Lukow on November 17, 1979. He enjoyed camping, flying fishing, CU Buffs and Denver Broncos football, old movies, Rockies Baseball and spending time with his family and friends. He had worked for the Town of Wiggins since 2004, and was Treasurer of the Lutheran Church of our Redeemer in Fort Morgan. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Trautwein of Wiggins, his mother, Laura Trautwein of Seattle, his children, Kyle Trautwein of Boulder, Logan Trautwein of Laramie, Scott and Jana (Luna) Trautwein and granddaughter Alia, all of Fort Morgan. Craig was preceded in death by his father, Henry. Memorial Services will be Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of our Redeemer in Fort Morgan. Memorial gifts may be made to the Lutheran Church of our Redeemer or the Organ Donor Alliance. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
