Crisoforo Efrain Gonzalez, 80, longtime area resident, died Friday, November 23, 2012 at Sunset Manor in Brush. He was born April 20, 1932, in Mexico to Simon & Ines (Talamante) Gonzalez. Efrain enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and he loved being with his family and friends. He is loved by many and missed by all. Survivors include the mother of his children, Josie; two sons; Mel Gonzalez of Fort Collins, Cris Gonzalez Jr. of Longmont, his stepdaughter; Norma Garza of Round Rock, TX, one sister; Crisanta Gonzalez of Brush, two brothers; Abdon Gonzalez of Brush and Simon Gonzalez Jr. of Brush, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Sofia and Juanita and one brother; Juan Gonzalez. A Rosary will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Wiggins. A Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. The service will conclude at the church.
