Dale Howard Johnson, 85, of Fort Morgan, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was born on January 10, 1939, to Dale & Margie Johnson.

Dale was raised on a ranch near Adena, south of Fort Morgan with two brothers and a sister. He served in the Army National Guard.

He worked odd jobs throughout his life, mostly in the farming/ranching and oil field industries. Dale enjoyed welding and attending stock car races and rodeos.

Dale is survived by his son, Monty Johnson and his two granddaughters, Candice Johnson and Maxine Covey of Fort Morgan; his brother, Ron Johnson and wife, Gloria; and sister, Dalene Schump and husband, Daryl, all of Greeley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents and his brother, Bob Johnson.
