Daniel Duane Beechley Sr.,79, passed away peacefully in Westminster on April 9th, 2021.

Daniel was born near Vernon CO on April 6, 1942 to Mildred (Riley) Beechley and Lesley Beechley.

He grew up farming in Idalia CO. Daniel was in the United States Army from 1961-1967, where he served in Germany. Daniel married his wife, Eligra Greathouse on December 19, 1964. Later they welcomed their daughter, Tammy and moved to Morgan County where their son, Daniel Jr. was born. Daniel loved trucking and retired from it in 2010.

Preceded in death by both his parents, two brothers, his sister and his daughter, Tammy.

Survived by his wife, Eligra Beechley of Fort Morgan; Brother, Eldon Beechley of Burlington; son, Daniel Beechley Jr. of Fort Morgan; four grandchildren, Tobin Mathews (Stephanie) of Richmon TX, Kayla (Beechley) Thompson (Adam) of Fort Morgan, Skylar Evert, and Shelby (Beechley) Garcia, along with four great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 4-6 PM at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Glendale Cemetery in Vernon, CO.
