Danny Joe Foster, 53 formerly of Ft. Morgan, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born December 5, 1955 in Hennepin, Oklahoma to Daniel D. and Shirley (Hougue) Foster. Danny moved to Fort Morgan as a young child and attended schools here. Danny worked most of his life in oilfield related postions. He enjoyed cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners and the Denver Broncos. He took pleasure in spending time with his family and his great friends. Survivors include his three children, Misty Jo Schroeder of Denver, Derek Foster of Greeley and Lacey Speas of Wayne, Oklahoma, his father, Daniel Foster and wife Clara of Greeley, his mother, Shirley Duran and husband J.D. of Kansas, brothers, Donn L. Foster, Martin Foster and Morgan Foster all of Greeley and Ronnie Sprouse of Kansas, sisters, Cindy Evans of Kansas, Charmaine Foster of Ft. Morgan, Charlotte Gulliksen of Denver and two grandchildren. Danny was preceded in death by his brother Jamie Foster and his grandparents. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Humane Society. Memorial Services will be Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the mortuary. The Heer Mortuary and Crematory in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
