Danny Williams, a man of many talents, endless stories, and a heart full of hugs and a willingness to help others, passed away on October 31, 2026, at the age of 78.
Born on July 14, 1948, Dan lived a full and varied life. He grew up on a dairy farm in Elizabeth, Colorado, and graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1966. Dan proudly answered the call to serve his country, joining the United States Air Force in 1968 and serving until his discharge in 1972. On August 21, 1976, after several years of chasing the pretty young love of his life, he finally married Lynda Williams and began the family he cherished so dearly.
Those who knew Dan will remember him as a loyal friend who cared deeply for his family and possessed the most sincere compassion for others. Dan truly did not know a stranger, forming an instant connection with everyone he met. Those left behind will forever remember his booming laughter, his kind and gentle spirit, and the pure joy he found simply spending time with the people he loved. His legacy of warmth and kindness will live on through his loved ones, never to be forgotten.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Fern Knott-Williams; father, Frank Williams; and brother, Gary Williams.
He leaves behind his devoted wife of 50 years, Lynda Williams; his son, Aaron Williams, and daughter, Roni Williams (though he was "Dad" to several others); and his grandson, Zane Williams (and "Grandpa" to many). He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis (Mary) Williams and Guy (Carole) Williams, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a vast circle of friends and family whom he cherished deeply.
Family and friends are invited to gather on November 14, 2026, at Brush Memorial Park to celebrate Dan’s remarkable life and share incredible stories with one another.
