Darrell D Oskarson, of Wiggins, CO, passed away on Thursday November 25, 2021.  He was born in Boulder, CO on April 23, 1953 to David and Donna Oskarson.  Darrell grew up in Erie, CO with his two siblings on the farm his father established.  He attended Erie High School and graduated in 1971.  He then attended NJC in Sterling, CO and graduated with an agricultural degree.  He attended at CSU for a year and a half and then came home to do what he loved; farming with his father in Erie, CO.

Darrell met the love of his life, Marianne Badding in August 1982 at a barn dance and they married on January 27, 1984. And moved to the farm in Wiggins in 1985.  They loved each other each and every day.  They were blessed with two children, Amanda Thomas and Eric Oskarson.  Darrell was a person who was very generous to his family and friends.  He always had a joke or funny story to tell.  He enjoyed going to coffee at the local coffee shop every morning, working on his farm, and spending time with his family and friends.

Darrell was preceded in death by both of his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Marianne; children, Amanda (Drew) Thomas, and Eric (Christine) Oskarson.  He loved the time he spent with his many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

A memorial service will be Friday, December 10 ^th at 11:00 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan.
