Darrell G. Reichert, 80, of Ft. Morgan, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Poudre Valley Hospital in Ft. Collins. He was born October 15, 1931 in Windsor, Colorado to Henry and Mary (Long) Reichert. Darrell moved to Ft. Morgan from Denver in 1997. Darrell enjoyed working on his computer and watching television. He also liked to fish, especially in the mountains. He always had a big garden and loved to share the vegetables he grew with his family. Darrell is survived by his brother Clyde Reichert and wife Helen of Ft. Morgan, three nieces, Lynn Pickering and husband Gary of Ft. Morgan, Dee Duke and husband Gary of Strasburg, Kim Pabst and husband Brian of Hillrose, eight grand nieces and nephews and eighteen great grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Wesley Reichert. There will be visitation on Wednesday the January 18, 2012 from 2 until 5 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Ft. Morgan. Interment will be at 2:00 pm at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Greeley. Memorial Gifts may be made to either the Gideons, or to the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Ft. Morgan. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
