David W. Collier, 51, of Wiggins, CO, died suddenly Friday, September 7, 2007, in Gunnison, CO. He was born July 23, 1956, in Sturgis, Michigan, to James & Joan Collier. On October 2, 1993, Dave married Wendy Sickler in Grand Rapids, MI. Following their wedding, the Collier's moved to Wiggins, CO. Dave was the owner of Collier Plumbing & Heating. He recently went to work for Weil – McLain, a company that specializes in boiler repair. Dave was an avid hunter and golfer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and at his home. He especially enjoyed spending time with his boys and participating in their activities. Survivors include his wife, Wendy, their 2 sons, Cole and Logan all of Wiggins; his 2 brothers, Tim of Beijing, China, and Pete of Grand Rapid, MI; 2 sisters Sharon O'Patik of Wiggins, and Jodi Kerner of Grand Rapids, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at the Wiggins Event Center in Wiggins, CO, at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in the Hoyt Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan on Tuesday from 2 – 7 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:30 – 7 PM.
