Dave Graff, 90, longtime area resident, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, Colorado. He was born October 31, 1928, in Santa Monica, California to Gilbert and Mary (Pierson) Graff.
Dave married Alice White on June 25, 1950, in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Dave owned and operated Graff LLC and Landmark Mobile community. He built his first home in Fort Morgan in 1951 and developed most of the far east side of Fort Morgan and several other developments around the surrounding area. He was a life member of the local Elks Lodge, Optimist Club and also a longtime member of the Northeastern Colorado Home Builders Association, where he was chosen as builder of the year in 2002.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Alice of Fort Morgan; son, David (Marlene) Graff of Fort Morgan; daughter, Vickie Graff of Woodward, Oklahoma; one brother, Ted Graff of Fort Morgan; seven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great–great grandchildren and many other loving nephews, nieces and relatives. Dave was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Paul Graff; and sisters, Ruth Wohlford and Thelma Zimmerman.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, 117 E. Bijou Avenue in Fort Morgan. Those who wish to give in Dave's memory may make memorial gifts to Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center.
