Dave Loose, 83, Life long Morgan County resident, died Thursday afternoon May 15, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. He was born January 14, 1921 in Ft. Morgan, to Jacob and Amalia Loose. He married Freda Foos March 6, 1941 in Kimball, NE. He was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Ft. Morgan. He enjoyed being a rodeo clown for many years and volunteering as an auctioneer for several fundraising events, from helping the FFA to selling farms. He also farmed for over 50 years before retiring. He is survived by his children, Gloria Garner and her husband Don of Minatare, NE, Larry and his wife Denise, and John and his companion Charlie Carter all of Ft. Morgan, and Becky Yearous and her husband Jim of Potter, NE; 4 grandchildren, Robbie Loose and his family of Wellington, Lonnie Loose and his family of Ft. Morgan, Marty Yearous and his family of Potter, NE and Tommy Yearous of Westminster; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters Helen Funk of Denver, and Carolyn Cook of Ft. Morgan. He was preceded in death by his wife Freda, 2 sisters, Lydia Foos and Marie Beardt, 3 brothers, Alex, Jacob and Dan, and his parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. A Funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:30 pm at the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Ft.
