DAVID WAYNE EMICK, 83, died Sunday afternoon, December 4, 2011 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. He was born in Fort Morgan on October 7, 1928 to Wayne & Pebble Emick. He married Gladys Yearous on September 2, 1954. Mr. Emick was an equipment operator with Schlumberger Oilfield Services for 33 years before his retirement. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan and a past member of the Elk's Lodge #1143. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Emick is survived by his daughter, Lynda Sinnott of Canyon City, CO; his son, Timothy Emick of Grand Junction, CO; his sister, Jane Beliel of Wheat Ridge, CO; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a great grandson. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 8th at the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church. Private Inurnment will be in Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan. Memorial gifts may be made to the First Christian Church, 225 W.
