DAVID MILLER JR., 85, longtime Brush resident, died Sunday evening, September 30, 2007 at his home in Brush. He was born June 15, 1922 in Frankfurt, Germany to David & Marie (Meyer) Miller. He married Alberta Petersen on November 17, 1946 in Brush. Mr. Miller was an automobile salesman for the majority of his working years. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brush. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and collecting beer steins. He was especially fond of polka music. Mr. Miller's grandchildren and family were most important to him. Survivors include his wife Alberta Miller of Brush; one son, Ronald Miller Lafayette; three daughters, Susan Johnson of Denver, Carol Walker of Hillrose, and Lori Bostron of Brighton; one brother, Sam Miller of Colorado Springs; three sisters, Shirley Laughlin of Arvada, Esther Miller-Bays of Denver, and Ruth Carder of Indianapolis, IN, and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lydia Brady; and four brothers, Godfrey, Robert, Don, and Ernie. Memorial services will be Thursday, October 4th at 10:30 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brush. Inurnment will follow in the Larkspur Columbarium at the Brush Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors by the V.F.W. Post 3551, Brush. Memorial gifts may be made to the music department at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory in Brush is in charge or arrangements.
