David Lee Lind Jr., 84, passed into the presence of his Savior Jesus Christ on December 19, 2020 at Sunset Manor in Brush.

He was born in Ft. Morgan on August 19, 1936 to David and Mary Lind. He lived his life in Morgan County where he farmed the family farm and raised cattle southwest of Ft. Morgan. He graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1955 and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960 where he was assigned to munitions in New Mexico and Nevada. He married Barbara Wolfe and continued farming until his retirement.

He loved farming and was twice awarded for high corn production. He particularly enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, the Denver Broncos and CO Rockies and was attached to his dogs and cats. He especially looked forward to annual Fall trips with Barbara. His wit and humor will be missed. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Evangelical Church in Fort Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and is survived by his wife of fifty years Barbara of Ft. Morgan, his brother Robert of Surprise, AZ, his sister Mary Ann Lind of Sun City West, AZ as well as his daughters Deborah Lind of Ft. Morgan, Lisa Smith (Rich) of Denver and Rebecca Berryhill (Bret) of Niceville, Florida, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.

He will be buried in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan with a private service to follow in the Spring.
