C. David Parrish, 57, longtime area resident, died Thursday, May 6, 2010 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was born September 11, 1952 in Norman, Oklahoma to Bascomb and Colleen (Lockhart) Parrish. David married Lynn Givan on August 10, 1991 in Fort Morgan. David was a member of the Morgan County Gun Club and was president of the club for the last several years. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited. David enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, photography and all kinds of sports. He was also a good mechanic and enjoyed helping people with whatever they needed. Survivors include his wife, Lynn, of Fort Morgan; six daughters, Adrienne Parrish of Dallas, Texas, Kristin Wilkinson and her husband, Mike of Winterset, Iowa, Amy Kerr and her husband, Noel, of Greeley, Wendy Klave and her husband, Ron, of Greeley, Laura Lane and her husband, Brandon, of Denver, Shannon Smith and her husband, Jason, of Houston, Texas; two sons, Jonathon Parrish and his wife, Becca, of Huachuca City, Arizona and Alan Cox and his wife, Amber, of Tucson, Arizona; one brother, Wayne Parish and his wife, Kate, of Norman, Oklahoma; one sister, Debra Ball-Brummett and her husband, Mitch, who live in Australia and Matt Ball of Ardmore, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, Emeline Parrish, Maysen and Bryce Wilkinson, Alyssa, Joshua, Jessica, Adam and Emma Kerr, Tori and Isaiah Klave and Jessica and Sean Smith. A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Memorial gifts may be made in David's name in care of the Heer & Dahl Mortuary.
