David Stanley Tarver, 52, of Fort Morgan, died unexpectedly Thursday in Granby. He was born September 13, 1956 in Canon City to Roy and Shirley Tarver. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening and especially enjoyed being with his family and friends. He worked for Tri State Generation and Transmission in Brush for 31 years. He was a loving husband to Kathi Tarver of Fort Morgan, he is also survived by brothers; Larry Tarver of Limon, Don Tarver of Salina, KS, Tracy Tarver of Sedgwick and Andy Tarver of Fort Collins, sisters; Peggy Glasgow of Colorado Springs, Susan Irwin of Farmington, NM., Jan Snavely of Ft. Worth, TX , and Donna Tarver of Guymon, OK., Foster brothers, Rueben Campbell, and Jr. Campbell both of Limon, his mother and father-in law Marie and Chuck Connors and sister-in law Charley Connors all of Greenville, SC., His life long friend Denny Engle of Fort Morgan, and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother Roy Tarver Jr., and his parents. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-6 at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 at the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan.
