David Alan Walter, 53, longtime area resident, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

He was born June 10, 1962 to John (Jack) and Audrey Walter in Columbus, WI. On November 6, 1982, Dave married Becky Steinhorst in Randolph, WI.

Dave enjoyed cooking, especially meat on the smoker . He enjoyed tinkering with computers and other electronics, golfing with his father in-law, and watching the Discovery Channel.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Walter of Hillrose; two daughters, Kara Walter of Sanford, FL, and Amanda Walter of Hillrose; his sister, Mary LaBlanc of Montello, WI; his two brothers, John Walter of Columbus, WI, and Paul Walter of Des Moines, IA; and his mother, Audrey Walter of Columbus,

Dave was preceded in death by his father, John Walter.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. The Service will conclude at the chapel.   Friends who wish may make memorial donations in Dave's name, C/O Heer Mortuary.
