Dawn Schwenke, 52, life resident of Fort Morgan, passed away suddenly at her home in Fort Morgan on Sunday, August 1, 2021.  She was born March 13th, 1969, in Fort Morgan to Willard & Renee Dunn.

Dawn graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1987.  She later obtained her associates degree in business administration.  Prior to health issues affecting her life, Dawn worked in several vocational fields.  Her favorite work was serving as a caregiver, helping people was a passion.

Survivors include her Mother, Renee Stroh, her Father Willard Dunn; 3 daughters Sasha Topete, Cheyenne Schwenke, and Clairessa Covelli; 1 son, Koen Covelli; 5 brothers Shawn Dunn, Rick Stroh II, & Ryan Stroh, Lon Dunn, Jon Dunn; and 2 granddaughters Salem and Zeppelin Topete.

The family will be having an open house reception to celebrate Dawn's life at the Hall (formerly the VFW building in Fort Morgan) on Friday, August 13th, from 2 – 4 PM.  Those attending are asked to bring a memory of Dawn to share with those in attendance but not obligated. Additionally, per Dawn's request, please come in casual dress.
