Debra Kay Davis, 61, of Wiggins, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at her home after an extended illness.

She was born in Wray, CO on March 26, 1956 to Delmar & Nada (Serl) Zwirn. She married David Davis in Fort Morgan on February 11, 1975. Deb retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of employment as a Mail Carrier.

Deb will be remembered by her family as a person with phenomenal strength. She was dedicated to her nieces and nephews and to those on her mail route, especially the elderly. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, sewing, and cooking.

Survivors include her husband, David Davis of Wiggins; her mother, Nada Brown and her husband, David of Sterling, CO; two brothers, David Zwirn and his wife, Meredith of Bridgeport, NE, and Rod Zwirn and his wife, Debbie of Iliff, CO; her sister, Dalene Zwirn of Amarillo, TX, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her father; her sister, Roberta Gebauer, and her grandparents.

A memorial service will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Morgan Church of The Nazarene, 221 W. 7th Ave. in Fort Morgan.
