Debra A. Hunt, 64, longtime resident of the Brush community, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at her home. She was born August 11, 1952, in Longmont, CO, to Earl "Bud" & Ima Jean Hunt.

Deb graduated from Brush High School in 1970 and attended Longmont Beauty College. Upon completion Deb worked as a beauty operator in Haxtun, CO and Brush. Her working career in Brush included Willow Salon, Tresses Styling Salon and Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center.

Deb enjoyed working in her garden, watching and cheering for the Denver Broncos, playing cards, fishing, and a special fondness for animals – especially her cats. Deb's family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them.

Surviving family includes her sister, Cindy Papendick; niece, Jill Blake and 1 nephew, Ryan Blake. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald, and her parents.
