Obituary

DEBRA ANN LARSEN, 52, of Brush, died Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born May 1, 1957 in Denver to William & Mable "Peggy" (Hamilton) Wilbanks. She married Allan J. Larsen in Northglenn on December 27, 1974. Mrs. Larsen worked for Serum Tech./Invitrogen as a fetal blood collector for the last 8 years of her career. Prior to that she worked for Cargill for 11 years. She had also worked as a cook at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center and Sunset Manor in Brush, and as a clerk for Southside Grocery. She was a member of the Morgan County Moose Lodge #1857. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, knitting, and crocheting. The greatest joy in her life was her granddaughter, Veda AnnMarie, with whom she spent much of her time. Survivors include her husband, Allan Larsen; and her children, Brad Allan Larsen and Amy Renee Larsen, all of Brush along with one granddaughter. She is also survived by two brothers, Bill Wilbanks of Westminster and Tom Wilbanks of Northglenn; and her sister, Diane Blair of San Felipe, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be Friday, November 13th at 5:00 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Services will conclude at the chapel. Memorial gifts may be made to Morgan County Moose Lodge #1857.
