Debra (Ybarra-Norwood) Millette, 49, former Brush resident, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday night, October 20, at the United Memorial Hospital in Longmont, CO. Deb was born December 17, 1959, in Brush, to Pete & Diana Ybarra. She graduated from Brush High School in 1978. On April 9, 2001, Deb married Ken Millette in Longmont. Deb, a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, and Sister, loved to go shopping. She was an animal lover, having 2 dogs, Odie & Rascal (Bubbles). She also enjoyed playing cards, especially Texas Hold'em. Survivors include her husband, Ken Millette of Longmont; 4 children, Gregory Norwood, Fawn Norwood, both of Greeley; Brooke Millette, and Josh Millette both of Longmont, CO; her parents Pete & Diana Ybarra of Greeley; 2 sisters, Sherri Albert & Lynn Duran both of Greeley; 1 niece and 3 nephews all of Greeley. She was preceded in death by one son, Brent Norwood; and her grandparents, Charles & Helen Deem and Mary & Eulogio (Lucky Sr.) Ybarra. Funeral services will be Monday, October 26, 2009, at the United Methodist Church, 1701 Edmunds Street in Brush at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Sunday from 1:30 – 4:00 PM.
