Denis Brian McGrath, 62, passed away suddenly in New Raymer on Friday, November 8, 2013. He was born January 5, 1951, in St. Louis, MO to Eugene and Eloise McGrath. Denis married Margaret Martinez on April 1, 2000, in Walsenburg, CO. He moved to Morgan County about 16 years ago from Springfield, CO. Denis worked for USDA as a Loan Officer for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and playing softball on the local senior team. Survivors include his wife, Margaret of Fort Morgan, and his mother, Eloise Sloan. Denis is preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Heer Crematory in Brush, Colorado and the inurnment will follow at a later date in Grant Cemetery in Creighton, MO.
